Chlorine float - What is it good for?

Whether outdoors or indoors: pool owners can make water care a little easier with a chlorine float - also known as a dosing float.

To keep a pool or whirlpool hygienic, chlorine is often used to disinfect the water. A dosing float distributes the chlorine in the pool independently.  

What is the advantage of dosing via a float?

In principle, chlorine tablets can also be added directly to the water without a chlorine dispenser. The chlorine tablets dissolve step by step and can take effect in the entire pool water. However, this procedure has a disadvantage: chlorine tablets in particular can settle at the bottom of the pool and the chlorine is ultimately only released into the water at this point. If a pool is quite large or is hardly used, the chlorine does not combine with the entire volume of water in the pool. This requires more regular movement in the water.
